A Day of Praise

Well, folks, we’ve had quite a wonderful, awesome, exciting, fun and full of praise-to-the-Lord-day! MBCC celebrated its 4th Annual Praise Festival this afternoon. People in Japan, Alaska, Canada and the Pacific Northwest of the USA tuned in to the LIVE webcast of the event. This year’s theme was “Let everything that hath breath praise ye the Lord!”

Among the most unusual presentations of praise was a “shigin” (詩吟）of Psalm 23 sung by Shinobu Tanoue. A “shigin” is a classical way of Japanese singing. Most of the people in the audience had never heard the Word of God sung in such a way until today.

We are full of praise and thanksgiving with wonderful memories of an awesome day, indeed!
