Munakata Bethel Christian Center celebrates it’s 4th Annual Praise Festival on Sunday, May 8th, from 2:30 PM (Japan) which is Saturday, May 7th from 10:30 PM (Pacific, USA).
Fourteen groups of singers from churches around Fukuoka Prefecture (Kurume, Nogata, Kita Kyushu, Munakata) will be gathering together to offer praise and worship to God. The annual festival will be an international get-together of people from Japan, the USA, New Zealand, and the Philippines.
We encourage you to come, participate and see how much love, joy, peace and power there can be in praising Almighty God!

Greetings from Japan! We want to announce that Munakata Bethel Christian Center’s (MBCC)
4th Annual Praise Festival will be held on Sunday, May 8th, from 2:30 PM in Japan.
For the first time ever, we will be broadcasting the event LIVE via the internet! If you are able, we would like to invite you to view the event. We realize the time differences between America and Japan are great, but perhaps before you go to bed on Saturday night, you can tune-in to celebrate Jesus with a few songs before your bedtime.
Since it takes place in Japan, almost all of what you hear will be in Japanese, however, there will be a few songs sung in English. If you are able, please join us for this annual event.

English Services at MBCC
Praise. Worship. The Word. Fellowship.
Munakata Bethel Christian Center hosts a once-monthly service in English on the 1st Sunday of each month.
The focus of this service is powerful praise and worship, followed by the Word of God along with coffee fellowship. The worship and message will be entirely in English with no translation. All are invited to attend!
If you do not speak Japanese, or if you speak Japanese but would like more exposure to the English language, this service is for you!Please use the information below.

Well, folks, we’ve had quite a wonderful, awesome, exciting, fun and full of praise-to-the-Lord-day! MBCC celebrated its 4th Annual Praise Festival this afternoon. People in Japan, Alaska, Canada and the Pacific Northwest of the USA tuned in to the LIVE webcast of the event. This year’s theme was “Let everything that hath breath praise ye the Lord!”
Among the most unusual presentations of praise was a “shigin” (詩吟）of Psalm 23 sung by Shinobu Tanoue. A “shigin” is a classical way of Japanese singing. Most of the people in the audience had never heard the Word of God sung in such a way until today.
We are full of praise and thanksgiving with wonderful memories of an awesome day, indeed!
