Welcome to the Munakata Bethel Christian Center

Munakata Bethel Christian Center is an independent, Protestant church with a rich Pentecostal heritage from Bethel Fellowship International in Federal Way, Washington, USA. The history of Bethel Fellowship International shows that over 6,000 churches have been established in Indonesia, besides works in Holland, South America and here in Japan. We are members of Japan Bethel Mission, a group of related churches and ministers in Tokyo, Iwate Ken and Kyushu.

Our hope is that you will come worship with us and discover the reality of the One who is leading and guiding the church, our Lord, Jesus Christ. He is what church is all about. He is wonderful!

History tells us the church began with 120 people and grew daily. “A few days later there was a meeting of the believers, about a hundred and twenty in all…Day after day they met as a group…praising God, and enjoying the good will of the people. And every day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved.” Acts 1:15; 2:46-47).

The church is still alive today, growing, multiplying and expanding at a fantastic rate around the world. Munakata Bethel Christian Center is a part of this growing church.

We believe and teach that Jesus Christ is alive, so our weekly worship services include live worship with various instruments and singing. We would like to invite you to come and be a part of our live worship each week. You will be warmly welcomed.
